Goals
• Establish the Bible is the standard for one’s relationship with God.
• Encourage personal study of the Bible to build faith.
Scriptures
2 Timothy 3:16-17
• All of the Bible is from God
• Bible is useful for training you to be right with God
• Bible has everything you need to please God
2 Peter 1:20-21
• Bible didn’t come from men.
• God told men what to write in the Bible.
Hebrews 4:12-13
• Bible is living and meant to be used today.
• Bible cuts to your heart to change you from the inside out.
• Bible will help prepare you to stand before God.
Mark 7:1-9
• Traditions and teachings of men cannot come before the Bible.
• Bible must be the standard for basing one’s walk with God.
John 8:31-32
• One must, not only believe Jesus, but must live by his teachings.
• Once you live by Jesus’ teachings, you will understand the truth.
1 Timothy 4:16
• Both life and doctrine are equally important.
• One must believe the right thing and live by that right belief.
• Knowing and obeying the Bible is key to living by the right doctrine.
John 12:47-48
• Bible is the standard by which our lives will be judged by God.
• We must know and live the Bible to be ready to answer God.
Acts 17:10-11
• Bereans were noble before God because they eagerly examined the scriptures everyday.
• Imitate the Bereans and eagerly examine the scriptures daily.
